‘Tis the season to be thankful….trala la la la….la la la la!

I am so cheesing right now and I don’t know why. As I came in, I did a two step and a skip dance before I sat down to start typing this. I feel so joyful, but this is kind of a parody because I cannot tell you exactly that there is anything to be happy about. 
In this moment I just am! It’s that simple and I am truly thankful for it!

God will give you His joy even when you are not in the mood to smile. It’s called HIS PEACE, which surpasses all understanding (even mine in this moment and I am dancing to it). God knows where you are today. He knows just how to get you to where you need to be. Simply trust His leading and follow faithfully.
Today's outfit post is a flashback of what I wore last Sunday. I paired denim on denim spontaneously, but chose to wear the mod orange jacket (as seen here) for layered warmth and style. 'Tis also the season to keep warm, so layer on your fashion pieces…pair them stylishly.

Styenspire: nothing to wear

This morning, I had a 'nothing to wear' dilemma.

 There was just nothing in my closet for who I thought I should be today. And it's Friday too!!! I felt I had crossed the line of having too much to choose from to nothing for my choices, somewhere between my awaking and shower time.

With no time and mind left to work with, I went for mute solids on a tri-scale; cream blazer+grey denim+waxed black denim=my Friday Fashion. Flustered as I was, I knew today's grace was already apportioned for me as I had put my TGIF in His unfailing love.

Stylenspire: the skinny

My business-casual work dress code was recently upped to business-formal with no 'denim Fridays'. 

Was I bummed or what? 

A major part of my denim collection lived for those Fridays that I no longer can enjoy on work days, so on 'non-office' Fridays like this, I gladly pull on a much loved denim to strut in. The tank I am wearing is made of a mesh-like fabric and I have it in three colors. They were $6.99 a piece from TJ Maxx and the quality/fit of it is one that will go the mile with me on my style journey. I added the blazer to keep the look from being too casual and the stud pumps gave an overall edge. Much kudos to whoever invented blazers because I tell you, the are a major 'amp and oomph' for any kind of fashion you wish to style.
