With the turn of the season, fair weather and blossoms inspire us to see newness in everything all around us. Hence, seeking the new in self and style is a sure thing for us world wide wonders. Perhaps, it is a season to take a different approach to seeking our higher self and also how we acquire our fashion. 

Through a decade's experience of custom-tailoring special occasion clothes for women, the trend of bespoke tailored everyday fashion has finally caught on and I thought to share some of my current creations with you.

Stylenspire: pebble print

World Wide Wonders, I truly trust that you have each had an enjoyable holiday season and have plenteous reasons to look forward to an amazing year of exceeding grace. My holiday has been so peaceful, refreshing and full of grace. Words cannot express how grateful I am right now and how truly my heart is filled with the joy of His Strength.
In my mellow state of mind, these pair of crepe silk pants was the way to go. I like the way pajama pants have been inducted into style trends. They are so easy to wear with effortless style, and I paired mine with a leather sleeve top and fur vest. For color, I wore these red platform booties that I am so in love with but have not worn in almost a year as the heels are over the top. Today's style make up are each easy wearable pieces that put together this way, I achieved a stylish finish with the pebble print pants and the shoes for focal pleasure.

Stylenspire: 'ber days

Wherever did September days run to? And what exactly happened with October? November days are also almost gone! Each day seem to run on by and all of them together are gone before you know it. Now I understand why I was asked to petition God for 30hours per day and 10days to a week. Chuckles* As if that can ever happen.
Though we cannot ever go back into those days, we can relive the joys and challenges they have brought us. We can give thanks for this year in its entirety as it nears its end, and with grateful hearts look forward to the blessings ahead.

In cold months as we have now, the key to creating each outfit is layering. Each layered piece will lend style while adding warmth to your whole look. I paired the blue cardigan with my dress to bring out the deep blue of the dress, but also to elongate/accentuate my slim shape with its length. A shorter cardi would have cut the dress in half, focusing on my short torso which would not look right.

Style tip: When layering, add fashion pieces that will give warmth with its volume and not bulk. Use the pieces to accentuate you physique without ill-defining your body parts.

Stylenspire: faithful friday

It's is the end of the week and frankly I am most glad it's Friday. Not so much for the weekend, but for the blessing I have had to survive this week and the grace to turn each heartache into hallelujahs. To finish it on a non-too-casual note, I styled my outfit with this interesting mohair ombre dress and a fur vest for warmth in style. I pictured two shoe options to share with you how you can style a dress like this in heels or flats. (I went with the flats for the day)

While looking for what to wear this morning, I realized that I have collected a few furry staples in the last year or so. That was an interesting discovery and I look forward to stylishly curate each piece this season. For now, do enjoy your viewing and have a FAB FRIDAY!

Stylenspire: plaid play

 

Too often, we all go about our merry way with undue busyness and  no thought to the gift of grace that keeps us at all times. This morning, I cannot help but ponder the fact that "the boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places". I am grateful for good health, contentment, and the fullness of God's grace. 

Somehow my ensemble also alludes to this fact. It's Friday, I am thankful and I feel playful in my outfit of choice. Even the teasing banter between Victoria and I tells the same story. What about you? Are you thankful it's Friday? More so I hope there are more joys in your life that you are thankful for. 

The pink plaid of my shirt lined with chambray, and its embellishment are a good choice for a stylish and carefree Friday. I love that this plaid top can be dressed up in the simplest way. I opted for waxed denim and watercolored flats to match my mood, yet a pair of heels could have been just as stylish to wear with it. What do you think?
